AMIC Technology, is UNIFORM, All the way
HSINCHU, Taiwan, - AMIC Technology Corporation (AMIC), the memory Chip designer of Taiwan, is pleased to announce that the full range of the UNIFORM sector version for SPI Serial Flash, will be available during 2008. The first available series in UNIFORM sector were the A25L040 Series (4M) and the A25L080 Series (8M), introduced November 2007. The line is now expanded with A25L010 (1M) and the A29L512 (512K) which are available. Soon the A25L020 (2M), A25L040 (4M) and A25L016 (16M) are available - they are planned in the course of April.

Details :
All the new introduced SPI's, 1M, 512M, 2M, 4M & 16M SPIL Flashes, are 3.3V, with 4K byte UNIFORM sector and with high speed clock rates UP TO 100Mhz!

A25L XXXX - X
A25L = SPI flash XXX = 010 = 1M
                                       = 512 = 512K
A25LXXX-F = DIP8 (300mil); A25LXXX O-F = SOP8 (150mil);
A25LXXX M-F = SOP8 (209mil) A25LXXX O-UF = SOP8 (150mil) extended temp. grade;
A25LXXX M-UF = SOP8 (209mil) extended temp. grade
All Pb-free (lead free) products and RoHS compliant

Applications :
1M major applications: Desktop PC monitor, PC Cam, PC Graphic Card Bios 512K major applications: PC Graphic Card, MP3 Player (With HDD type)

Expected 2008:
AMIC will continue to develop & supply the full range of SPI UNIFORM sector Flash during 2008, the A25L064 (64M) and A25L0128 (128M) will be the last introduced parts in the range, respectively October 2008 and end 2008 as given today's schedule.
